ネガティヴ・ケイパビリティ(受容する負の能力)というものだ。

先の読めない状況や、理解を超えた神秘や、
疑念のなかに人があるとき

事実だの、理屈だのを求めて苛立つことなく、
その中にたたずんでいられる、

その能力のことだ。
